The City of Issaquah will hold the 3rd Annual Sustainability Fair on Saturday, April 26, 2025 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Pickering Barn. Last year, we attracted 1,000 community members to learn about sustainability resources and participate in demos, tours, electric vehicle displays, and touch-a-trucks. For 2025, we anticipate greater attendance and are planning a larger scale event to accommodate community participation.
Below is a sampling of what's in store:
-Farmers Market Preview
-E-Bike display and test rides offered by Gerks
-Sock mending class offered by Recology
-Participate in the City Nature Challenge and GeoCaching Project
-Clothing swap
-Live demos
-Recycle your used batteries and lightbulbs
-Register to participate in our new Solarize Eastside Program
-Visit with local nonprofit and governmental organizations
-Learn about the Snoqualmie Tribe’s Ancestral Lands Movement and restoration efforts.
-Sign up for local outdoor opportunities, including the Green Issaquah program.
