SUMMARY:3rd Annual Sustainability Fair
DESCRIPTION:The City of Issaquah will hold the 3rd Annual Sustainability Fair on Saturday\, April 26\, 2025 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Pickering Barn. Last year\, we attracted 1\,000 community members to learn about sustainability resources and participate in demos\, tours\, electric vehicle displays\, and touch-a-trucks. For 2025\, we anticipate greater attendance and are planning a larger scale event to accommodate community participation.\n\n \n\nBelow is a sampling of what's in store:\n\n-Farmers Market Preview\n\n-E-Bike display and test rides offered by Gerks\n\n-Sock mending class offered by Recology\n\n-Participate in the City Nature Challenge and GeoCaching Project\n\n-Clothing swap\n\n-Live demos\n\n-Recycle your used batteries and lightbulbs\n\n-Register to participate in our new Solarize Eastside Program\n\n-Visit with local nonprofit and governmental organizations\n\n-Learn about the Snoqualmie Tribe's Ancestral Lands Movement and restoration efforts.\n\n-Sign up for local outdoor opportunities\, including the Green Issaquah program.\n\n-Student initiative booths\n\n-Collect "passport" stamps from browsing areas of the Fair\n\n \n\nThank you to our confirmed sponsors: 300 Trees\, Abundant Living Landscapes\, Cascade Water Alliance\, Cougar Mountain Zoo\, Energy Smart Eastside\, Friends of Issaquah Salmon Hatchery FISH\, Friends of Lake Sammamish State Park\, Garden Hotline\, Hall Studio Designs\, Issaquah Ice Cream Trike\, John L.
