Stephanie Norton-Bredl Will Join Us as Our New Executive Director

We’re thrilled to announce that Stephanie Norton-Bredl will join us as our new Executive Director on March 13!

Stephanie has dedicated herself to building resilient communities by promoting wellness and championing access to services for all. She's highly connected on the Eastside through her role as Executive Director of the Snoqualmie Valley YMCA and formerly at the Sammamish Community YMCA. She is collaborative, goal-oriented, energetic, and thrives in complex and demanding environments like ours.

From Stephanie:

As the new Executive Director of the Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank, I am very excited to be joining this amazing team of staff and volunteers.

Having worked in the non-profit world for 19 years, serving families on the Eastside for the past five years, I’ve witnessed the growing need for services, and have been impressed with the responsiveness of our community to serve our neighbors. This organization and the compassion of our volunteers and donors epitomize what it means to be a community. One of my favorite quotes comes from Coretta Scott King:

"The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members."

This is a great community, and it is largely due to the compassionate actions of our staff and all of you, our volunteers, donors, and advocates!

I look forward to all that we can do in the coming months. With the rising costs of food, goods and housing, more of our neighbors are looking for support. Together we will continue to develop creative solutions to meet this increased demand. I’m excited to explore opportunities for growth and new partnerships, as I get to know all of you and the greater Issaquah community better.

Gratefully,

Stephanie Norton-Bredl
Executive Director
