DOWN HOME 4TH OF JULY CELEBRATION

Bring the family down and join in some good ol' fashioned fun on Monday, July 4th for the Down Home 4th of July Celebration and Heritage Day festivities. The Swedish Hospital Kids 'n Pets Parade kicks off the day at 11 am. You can watch the colorful entries along Front Street or dress up your bike, scooter, wagon, dog, chicken, guinea pig or other family members and participate. The day-of registration for the parade begins at 10 am and takes place at the Holt Building, 425 Rainier Blvd N. You may also get your place in the parade early by submitting the application online or picking one up at the Visitors Information Center located at 155 NW Gilman Blvd. Issaquah.

After the parade, join us at Veterans' Memorial Park for more fun with bouncy houses, water balloons, gunnysacks and three-legged races to win all kinds of fun, red, white and blue prizes. Dig in the hay for prizes at the Hay Hunt, enter your pet slug in the official Slug Speed Race and Beauty Pageant (amateurs only please). PLEASE NOTE we do not provide slugs - you need to bring your own. We'll see you there!
