Art Show Opening Gala: Puget Sound Sumi Artists

Make room for more art and enjoyment in your day and join us for our newest art installation. Puget Sound Sumi Artists, a non-profit organization established in Tacoma in 1985, has over 70 members in Washington, many of whom are instructors. Sumi is a simple yet elegant art form handed down to Japan from China. Artists use a minimal amount of brush stokes to create subtle ink paintings that stimulate the imagination.
